Diets & Weight Loss – Gut Busting Exercises

If you’re interested in losing weight around your middle, you need to know the hard truth. It…takes…exercise. That’s right, you most likely won’t be able to bust that gut through diet alone. It’s time to pick up the pace, and get your body in motion.

Aerobic exercise is proven to burn fat, for true gut busting power. Try one of these great gut busting exercises today. Then mix it up with a different one tomorrow. Aim for thirty minutes of exercise three to five times per week for optimum fat burning power.

1.Walking: Walking is a great beginner exercise. It’s relatively low impact, and is easy to fit into your day. Try parking your car in the furthest spot from your destination, or throwing in a quick walk on your lunch break

2.Running: After walking, running is the next step. Invest in a good pair of running shoes, and you’re on your way! If you’re a beginner, alternate walking and running, working up to a full blown run.

3.Dancing: Dancing is a great, fun way to burn that fat. Spend time at your favorite club, or even in your own living room with the kids. Just be sure to keep moving for at least thirty minutes

4.Bicycling: Biking is another great way to incorporate family fun and weight loss. Take your kids out on the trail for a fun weekend adventure, and get your exercise in at the same time.

5.Housecleaning: Heavy housecleaning, such as scrubbing floors, wiping down walls, and lifting and organizing boxes, can be a productive way to lose weight and get something done around the house at the same time.

6.Skating: Grab your skates, and head for the rink or the park. Roller blading or roller skating are both great gut busting exercises.

If you are new to exercise, or are trying a new exercise for the first time, it is important to start out slowly. Begin exercising gradually, and build up to full intensity. Be sure to stretch before exercising each time to avoid muscle aches and cramps, and drink water throughout your workout to ensure that you stay hydrated.

Exercising can be a great way to involve the whole family in an active lifestyle. Instead of spending the next weekend day in front of the TV, take the time to plan an active family outing. You’ll be able to enjoy your day outside, and lose weight at the same time.
